Vermont Youth Orchestra Association The VYOA provides multi-level music programs and ensemble opportunities for students of all musical abilities in grades K-12, including three full orchestras, two string orchestras, two choruses, and a program specifically for winds, brass, and percussion. Annual auditions are held in May and also by appointment throughout the year. Summer opportunities include Music Day Camp (a week-long camp in June for grades 4-10), two-day Mini-Camps in August for students who have auditioned for and joined our school-year programs, and Reveille Music Camp, a week-long overnight camp for students who will be joining our two most advanced orchestras during the school year. Financial aid is available. The VYOA teaches and inspires young people through the creation and performance of music to develop a life-long love of music, leadership strengths, a sense of teamwork and responsibility, while embracing the cultural vitality of our community.
