Vermont Institute for Natural Science, Rte 4. Join the staff from the Quechee State Park and hike the Quechee Gorge. At 180 feet deep and nearly ?-mile long, the Quechee Gorge is one of the state?s greatest natural wonders. Participants will descend into Vermont?s ?Little Grand Canyon? and explore the geological and glacial history of Vermont. This 1.25-mile hike is moderately steep with uneven terrain.
