  1. Good Shepherd Preschool in Jericho is a fabulous introduction to school for young minds and bodies. Susan Ruess, the experienced and fantastic head teacher, shares her love for learning with the kids, teaching them that learning is a journey and an exciting adventure. My daughter, who is now in Kindergarten, often talks about Good Shepherd and how she wants to go back!

  2. I could not agree more with Beth Renaud and her comments about the Good Shepherd Preschool! My daughter’s experience there is still a time she fondly remembers now, two years later. Susan Reuss created not only a warm and nurturing environment at Good Shepherd but also one which was stimulating and respectful of the preschoolers abilities to learn. Good Shepherd was a positive first school experience for my child and set the stage for future success.

  3. The Schoolhouse, a K-6 elementary school in South Burlington offers a nurturing, holistic approach to education — focusing on instilling a love of learning and curiosity in kids while emphasizing the importance of learning to live and work together in a community. My kids (K and 4) have had a terrific experience and love going to school every day!! The faculty (3/4 of whom have over 20 years of teaching experience) are skilled, compassionate and, frankly, incredible!! I highly recommend the Schoolhouse to parents who are looking for an alternative to the public school for their kids.

  4. Our favorite preschool has been Good Shepard Preschool in Jericho, VT. My daughter really loved it there and is jealous that her younger sister is going to go there soon. Susan Ruess, the head teacher, puts the children first and combines a good balance between fun and learning. My daughter was well prepared for kindergarten after going to GSPS and I have confidence that my younger daughter will also.
