A classic New England family camp on Lake Fairlee, Ohana was restored in 2007 to its original, rustic charm. Week-long stays offer a wide range of activities for everyone. Ohana families live in cozy, cedar shingled cottages and share delicious farm fresh meals in our gracious dining hall. Famous for the camaraderie returning campers enjoy year after year, the Aloha Foundation's Camps have served families since 1905.
Roaring Brook Camp specializes in wilderness programming and outdoor skills instruction; with backpack/canoe trips. Rock climbing, rappelling, ropes course, Tyrolean traverse, survival training, orienteering, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, fly-tying, woodworking, leatherwork, blacksmithing, archeryrksmanship, fitness, timber sports. Four/six week campers enjoy a 5-day long canoe trip, backpack trips as well as special event days including Woodsman's Weekend, Survival Solo, Orienteering Day and the Triathlon. Two, four, and six-week sessions available. Forty-five campers per session. (1 counselor to 3 camper ratio) Drs. Thayer and Candice Raines.
