The Bellwether School, located in Williston, Vermont, is a holistic education school for students in preschool through grade six. The school has long been in the forefront of sound ecological and environmental practices, and strives to be a leader in education for the 21st century utilizing an emergent curriculum. Bellwether teachers recognize diversity in learning styles and learners' interests, celebrate relationships, and strive for balance. Bellwether students develop their minds, hearts, bodies, and spirits in a nurturing environment that encourages inquiry, stimulates curiosity, embraces creativity, and inspires a passion and lifelong love of learning.
ECHO Camps occupy that powerful place where passion for science and compassion for the earth meet to create an explosively-rich environment of excitement and learning. We insist that science is fun and that kids who love science, nature, and making things are the most awesome kids around. We love kids who care, kids who imagine, kids who are different, and kids who are quietly brilliant. It is our goal that each of these kids has a transformative experience at ECHO. We offer one-day and week-long science, stewardship, and design themed summer and school vacation camps for children K-6th grade.
