Mater Christi School prepares pre-school, elementary, and middle school students of all faiths to succeed in high school and beyond. With test scores that are consistently above national averages, integrated arts, cutting-edge technology, a state-of-the-art science laboratory, and music, art, and French classes, we are a Catholic school that discovers personal greatness in every student.
After the school day ends, your child’s opportunities continue with Mater Christi’s award-winning extracurricular activities – band, drumline, drama, sports, student council, Odyssey of the Mind, Girls on the Run, and many more. We also offer a renowned afterschool enrichment program, which accommodates working parents’ schedules with classes such as martial arts, yoga, and beginning Mandarin. Located at 50 Mansfield Avenue in Burlington’s hill section, our school’s beautiful campus is adjacent to Fletcher Allen Health Care and the University of Vermont.
Would you like your children to play in the woods, make forts and flower chains, learn bird calls and watch bugs? They still can here! Turtle Lane Art and Nature Camp brings children ages 4-10 closer to nature with guided forest exploration, nature crafts, woodland legends; and plenty of time to play.
The Children’s Garden is for ages 3-5 and the Woodland Adventure for ages 6-8.
