Production Specifications

• Kids VT is produced with InDesign CS3 for Mac.
• All ads must be submitted digitally.
• Please submit ads in one of the following formats:

1) PDF Saved as version 1.5
Compression OFF
Fonts embedded, not subsetted
Color Management OFF (not none)
Advanced: OPI comments UNCHECKED

2) InDesign CS3 for Mac
All graphics and fonts collected and
embedded.
(PC fonts may not be compatible
with our system and may need to be
replaced with a similar font. Please
send/fax a hard copy for reference.)

3) Illustrator CS3 for Mac
All fonts converted to outline.

Ad component specifications:

• Scan photographs, B/W or color at 300 dpi.
• Scan text or line-art at 600 dpi.
• All color components need to be saved as CMYK. All black components of color ads (ie. text), need to be black only with no CMY in the black.
• Do not include ANY color images or color type within B/W ads.
