Lake Champlain Maritime Museum is open late-May to mid-October, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Discover the lake’s shipwrecks, archaeology, history and ecology through hands-on exhibits and learning adventures in 14 exhibit buildings and aboard replica 1776 gunboat “Philadelphia II” and 1862 canal schooner “Lois McClure.” This summer LCMM offers twelve new Lake Adventure Day Camps for students ages 4-16 in Burlington and Vergennes. Special Events: Kids Pirate Festival, Abenaki Heritage Weekend, and Rabble in Arms Reenactment. Playground, Museum Store, picnic areas, discount at Red Mill Restaurant. Dog-friendly. Daily admission free with annual membership.
