Stuck in Vermont: River of Light Lantern Parade

After Friday's school shooting in Connecticut, the last few days have seemed especially dark. This video of students, parents and teachers parading their homemade lanterns through Waterbury offers some illumination. Seven Days' multimedia producer Eva Sollberger captured this holiday tradition in a town recently devastated by Tropical Storm Irene.

Since Friday, we've all seen so many — too many — images of what's wrong with the world. Here's something that's right.
