The Winooski Valley Park District (WVPD) is a cooperative partnership of seven member communities who share a common interest in protecting natural resources in the Winooski River Valley. The WVPD manages 1,750+ acres of conservation land in 18 parks and natural areas for public use and enjoyment. WVPD parks are open year-round, free of charge and offer hiking, walking, running, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, kayak & canoe access, fishing, swimming, picnic areas and wildlife viewing opportunities. The WVPD offers environmental education for schools, afterschool programs, and operates two day camps. Volunteer and service learning opportunities available! Visit www.wvpd.org to learn more.
