Re: “Defining Masculinity: Books That Celebrate the Sensitive Side of Boys

I thought of Julian is a Mermaid after sending these recs! Its a fabulous new picture book about a little boy who wants to be a mermaid and acts on his desires. Im teaching it alongside the Little Mermaid in the next version of my Fairy Tales course!

Re: “Searching for Timeless Tales: A Family-Owned Press in Shelburne publishes Children's Picture Books

My story about a bear needs a publisher, and I have already submitted it to two who are interested and charge a considerable amount of money upfront. Before I make one of the biggest decisions of my life, is it possible for you to tell me what publication with Ripple Grove Press includes?

The book I have written is a creative nonfiction poem in memory of a polar bear who lived a very unique life in Alaska. I also have photos and/or illustrations to complement the story.

I am new to book publishing, although several of my poems have been published in chapbooks, anthologies, and online.

Thank you very much for your assistance as I enter this exciting world of being a published book poet!
