Not going back for sure!! Wish there was 0 stars. It only went well because I had combed my daughter's hair right before the appointment. The lady was rough combing her hair and was getting overwhelmed with my daughter even though she probably listened more than you would expect from a little kid. I could see how it could have been bad if a kid is scared or she pulled their hair and hurt them. She also pushed my daughter's head down and up way too fast and abruptly. You don't do that to adults let alone kids.My daughter got nervous and worried, but thankfully it went ok. Definitely not going back!!!!She shouldn't even have license to cut hair, they should take it away from her. I shouldn't have gone there after reading the bad reviews on Facebook!!

I sent my son with my fiance to get his hair cut here, because I had heard they did a good job with kids. I sent him with the request for a "men's regular" and a picture of my brother's hair (his wedding is this weekend and my son is the ring bearer, and I am trying to match their haircuts).
He came back with literally the worst haircut I have ever seen in my life. I could have easily done better than that myself (I cut my fiance's hair). The fade was non-existent and had a completely irregular edge (up and down by nearly an inch). The top of his hair was basically like a wolverine haircut...high on the sides and short in the middle...it looked absurd. And she had SPIKED it! For a "regular" haircut!
I almost cried. The wedding is this weekend, and the cut is horrible. With my parents' help we were able to fix it enough to not be a complete embarrassment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Re: “Green Mountain Training Center

I sent my 9 year son to their Ninja warrior/parkour camp. After the first day, he came home exhausted. The next morning he was unable to lift his arms, and couldn't even lift his backpack, which only had his lunch box and water bottle in it. He begged me not to send him that day. I did keep him home, and when I called to tell them he wasn't coming, I had to call 5 times before anyone finally answered after 9:30. I had left a message the first time, but kept calling since they hadn't called back. When I did talk to someone, I was informed that "You need to rip muscle to build muscle". He was very rude when I told him that that attitude was inappropriate for a growing child. My son did enjoy the activities, and went back for Wednesday and Thursday, but was too sore to attend the final day of camp. I would not send him back.

Re: “Leaps and Bounds Child Development Center, Essex Junction

Awful experience with Leaps and Bounds at Catamount. They care less about kids. Staff is uneducated, unprofessional and rather play with their cell phones. All they want is your money. The most expensive daycare in the area and they don't even qualified to be pre-school.

Re: “Triple Combination Farm

Horrible experience. Quit this stable a few years ago right before Christmas. My 10 year old daughter asked her instructor Mary what she hoped Santa was bringing her for Christmas. The instructor (30 year old woman mind you) saw fit to tell my child that she didn't believe in Santa because her parents told her that he didn't exist. When confronted by my husband later, she defended her actions saying that she didn't lie to children. Since we try to keep jerks away from our kids, we discontinued lessons. BTW, this woman was one of the owners and is still there. One of other partners was perpetually grumpy and miserable and truly seemed to dislike kids. Unless you're the Grinch, avoid!!
