Re: “Wild cLOVEr Photography

Jenn has taken pictures of my family for years now. While I always feel a little chaotic during our sessions, she assures me that it is all going well and we always have the MOST BEAUTIFUL pictures! She has an amazing talent for live action shots that capture my childrens' personalities and she is just the loveliest person to work with!!

Re: “Wild cLOVEr Photography

Jenn is a very talented and personable photographer! She takes beautiful, special and unique photographs and really understands her craft. She loves using natural light, which is one of the reasons we decided to go with Jenn for our maternity photo session (aside from all of the gorgeous shots we previewed in the galleries on her web page). We've had Jenn do our newborn and one-year sessions now too, and are so thrilled with all of our photos! Jenn is also wonderful to be around. She has such a kind and helpful spirit! We're so glad we found her! :)

Re: “Karen's Kloset

Pregnant women now have a wide range of options sure to satisfy their maternity clothing needs throughout the first trimester pregnancy, second trimester pregnancy and third trimester pregnancy. With so many maternity merchandise choices to select from it can be overwhelming.

Re: “VT Birth Haven

I had Francesca join me in the birth of my second Daughter. My first birth was not at all like I had hoped. The second had it's hard spots, but Francesca's support really helped me get through my difficult labor and delivery! I wish I had her at my first birth. She checks in weekly to see how the pregnancy is going and answers any questions or concerns so you have. My labor was very fast, but in the short amount of time we had her she was very supportive to my husband and I. Her postpartum visit was very awesome! I got a nice hot shower with no crying babies! She is an awesome support person and I highly recommend her!

Re: “Birth Journeys

My wife and I attended the childbirth and and newborn care classes which were very informative and we made friends as well. Our birth journey's Doula was AMAZING we had a lengthy delivery and she was there the whole way through! I can't even imagine how you would go about this without a Doula. From pre labor meeting to the post delivery visit was all very professional. I feel as though our Doula is family and I just cant say enough about what having her there for support and a laugh here and there did for us. Everything from documenting the events and being one step ahead made the experience amazing. Not the hippy dippy experience I expected from my slight knowledge of what a doula was before the pregnancy. My wife was right we love our Birth Journey's Doula and if you're on the fence about this you'd be foolish not to take advantage of their services! Genie was probably as supportive for my wife as she was for me a terrified new dad.

Re: “Birth Journeys

Back to say that the henna parties at Birth Journeys are fantastic! Rebecca of Heartfire Henna has such lovely designs. If only I'd know about her belly henna when I was pregnant-- so cool. I love Rebecca's visits to Birth Journeys every month: I get amazing henna on my hand while spending a great evening with moms, moms-to-be, and their friends. Even if we're strangers when we arrive, we quickly fall into conversation that isn't always about babies and birth. I look forward to these henna parties as a way to stay connected with our doulas and their community of families.

Re: “Birth Journeys

Hubby and I attended the childbirth class and newborn care class. The location and doula instructors were perfect for us! Highly recommend checking them out. If you are interested in having them be your doula sign up early because by the time we decided to hire a doula (2 months prior to due date) they were already booked 3+ months out so we ended up not having a doula at our birth.

Re: “VT Birth Haven

I loved Francesca's Birth Art Workshop—it started off with a series of visualization exercises to help us focus and relax during labor and beyond, and then we got into the arts and crafts portion and created a collage to guide us in the delivery room. It was the perfect way to connect with my baby and myself, not to mention meet other moms-to-be!

Re: “VT Birth Haven

New sibling event was the perfect introduction to our three year old for what was to come. Fun and appropriate crafts and thoughtful activities helped our daughter to understand what it would mean to be an older sibling. The class also emphasized what an important role she would play and made her feel super special. Highly recommended for expanding families!

Re: “Birth Journeys

My husband and I attended Birth Journey's childbirth class which was both informative and encouraging. I loved having Jenna and Genie do a belly cast for me in my final month of pregnancy - somehow they made me feel like a Goddess which was not an easy task at that particular time.. Jenna was our doula for our daughter's birth which allowed us to prepare, make informed decisions, and ultimately empowered me to have a positive birth experience. She supported us in doing most of the labor at home, navigated us through the hospital, and was a calming supportive presence for my partner and I during the birth. Overall, Birth Journey's support, guidance, and knowledge assisted in our transition to parenthood...and continues to do so with their playgroups and henna parties, and ultimately as a resource in the community. They are wonderful and we are forever grateful for their support and care!

Re: “Birth Journeys

We went to Birth Journeys on recommendation from several of our friends and had an exceptional experience with them. We did our childbirth classes with Jenna and the weekly class was one of our favorite times during a very busy summer to stop and focus on the coming addition to our lives in a supportive, informative, and relaxed atmosphere. We also had the chance to meet with Genie and Francesca during the course of our time there and decided to go with the three ladies as our doulas because we felt most of all that we could trust them going into a time and place of much uncertainty. Our expectations were met and far surpassed; all three were so helpful and supportive in the weeks leading up to the birth and during what turned out to be a longer and more unexpected labor, Francesca was absolutely amazing, an absolute rock, and an incredible support, guide, friend and coach as we navigated all that was familiar and completely alien during the process. We are ever grateful to all of them for all that they've done for us.

Re: “Before Birth Bonding

My husband and I just moved here from Hawaii and were looking for a 3D/4D Ultrasound. To our surprise, unlike Hawaii, there was only one option. We were a bit skeptical at first but I decided to give them a call anyway. I chatted away with the technician for over 20 mins on the first phone call. She was so accommodating and friendly. It was like I had known her for years.
The day of our 4D ultrasound was great. The room is very cozy and the technician made sure our 2 year old was completely involved in the process. He loved getting to see his little brother for the first time.We were able to find out the sex at 17 weeks. Let the shopping begin! :) I would definitely recommend Before Birth Bonding to anyone seeking a 3D/4D.

Re: “Birth Journeys

We live far from our relatives and didn't envision our families participating in our labor and delivery. After attending a childbirth education course taught by two Birth Journeys doulas (through the Beginnings program, prior to the doulas starting their own courses), we knew we wanted a guide, a support person, a doula at our birth. We felt so comfortable with their collective experience, familiarity with Fletcher Allen, and most of all their support for how we wanted to bring out child into the world-- no judgement. And our daughter's birth was wonderful because of their support. Birth Journeys were among the first people we announced our second pregnancy to! Jenna was wonderful at our son's birth. I wish I could provide a doula to every woman who wants one! Their playgroups have been a highlight for our young family, connecting us with other families, forming great friendships, and sharing joys, frustrations, and baby gear. The women of Birth Journeys will help you welcome your child into the world and supporting you through those amazing first years of childhood.

Re: “Birth Journeys

We went to Birth Journeys before the birth of our daughter and it was great! If you're worried it's going to be too hippy-full-of-sunshine-and-roses it's not. If you're worried they're going to scare-the-crap out of you they won't! It was just the right mix of information and encouragement. And when labor didn't go exactly as we had hoped, we were able to make informed decisions along the way that helped prevent us from having to have a c-section. Loved these ladies!

My husband and I have attended childbirth ed, newborn care, and play group every now and then. These women are GREAT! Informative, unbiased, helpful, and BEYOND nice. Before, during, and after! I totally wish I had one of them as my doula! While giving birth, I felt informed and strong knowing what they taught me! Changed my life!!! And Hunter, our son, just LOVES Jenna! Gotta be a sign ;)
