Re: “Arabesque Etc Dance

Martina not only has an amazing dance studio with Arabesque Etc., she has created a dance family that nurtures, challenges and loves every one of its members. My daughter is 9.5 and is in her fourth year with the studio. She has loved every minute of it, especially the opportunities for performance - from the Nutcracker Tea before Christmas to the Themed Showcases to the incredible story shows. It's incredible watching her learn and grow as a dancer and a young lady with the unconditional support and caring of Martina, her amazing instructors and the older dancers. Martina's excellence in dance and theater combined with her HUGE heart and love of dance makes Arabesque the ideal home for dancers of all levels. My daughter has loved the camps in the summer and is very much looking forward to camp this summer. Don't miss the show this year (2018) on June 2nd at Colchester High based on Mary Poppins!

Re: “Arabesque Etc Dance

My 10 year old daughter has been dancing here for 3 years, and it's a wonderful environment. The older dancers often help with the younger, and she really look up to them (and they are good role-models!). The kids all support each other and the instructors are all extremely positive and encouraging. The shows are amazing and incredibly creative.

Re: “Arabesque Etc Dance

My 15 year old daughter has been dancing with Arabesque, Etc. for the past several (3-4) years. It has been amazing for her on so many levels both mentally and physically. She is able to participate in several different genres of dance and the high level of teaching combined with the family friendly atmosphere is exactly what we are looking for. Great community, amazing shows, top notch!

Re: “Arabesque Etc Dance

If your kid loves to dance, this is the studio for you. A variety of styles of dance, offered at convenient times. Local kids can take the bus straight to the studio. Before or after childcare can often be arranged. My daughter started taking ballet when she was 13 and this has been such a terrific community for her.

Re: “Niquette Bay State Park

Please note, that as of Tuesday, September 2, 2014 this park is an all on-leash park, year-round. The park welcomes visitors with dogs, however dogs must be leashed at all times in the parking lot and on the trails. Dogs may swim at the rocky cove, but are not allowed on the sandy beach.

Re: “Emerald Lake State Park

Great park to go camping or just visit for the day. The kids enjoy the clean beach and warm water in the Summer.

Re: “Niquette Bay State Park

This is one of our favorite hikes. You can either take the most direct route to the beach or the longer hike to the beach which has a hill and an interesting rusting car from the 20s or 30s along the way. Lots of different things for kids; long stairways to climb, creeks to cross, the forest itself, huge rocks along the lake you can picnic on, and of course the beach. Parts of the park are open for dogs to be off leash too. To get there from the east (or from 89) you have to pass it on Rte 2, then turn around and take a right to enter the park. Just follow the signs. We passed it so may times going to the islands and just never realized how great a park we were passing.

Re: “Spare Time Entertainment

Always have fun bringing the little ones for a couple games! Fun music and decent food make it a party. They also have a ramp for kids so they can (as in our case) score better than mom & dad!
