Re: “Winooski Early Childhood Program

Great leadership and community involvement!

My daughter had a fabulous time - so much so, in fact, that we signed her up for an additional week. She couldn't wait to go back. The counselors are excellent and they keep the kids engaged and interested all day. My only complaint was the unresponsiveness of the administrative staff. Just trying to get a response from the registrar's office can take days or more.

Re: “Emerald Lake State Park

Great park to go camping or just visit for the day. The kids enjoy the clean beach and warm water in the Summer.

Re: “NCSS Camp Rainbow

My son went to this camp one summer and it was such a terrific experience for him. He was so nervous about it at first, but then he realized how much fun it was and that he finally had a place he fit in! It was a great time for him. Lots of activites and kids just like him!

My now three year old son goes to Heartworks 2 days a week & they are his favorite 2 days! The environment is warm and welcoming and the teachers are knowledgeable and extremely approachable. My son had a hard time at the beginning of the year having never been away from us...the teachers & staff were amazingly supportive & helped all of us to make the transition as easy as possible. wonderful school that I am proud to send my son to!

Re: “Shelburne Museum

I love Shelburne Museum! Their programs and exhibits are great for all ages--a good mix of art, history, and hands-on fun activities (the 1920's carousel and owl cottage are both a big hit with kids!).

Re: “O.N.E. Community Center

This is a great way to meet other first time parents. The time is 11AM - 1PM.

Re: “Blackrose Farm

The camp is a good place for riders. My 11 year old grand daughter made some good friends and with the others had to wash, brush, muck stalls, and ride. Little competitions seemed to be enjoyed by all of the kids. Hoping she's choose to go back this summer

Re: “Hinesburg Nursery School

HNS is a wonderful school with loving teachers and a welcoming parent community. I particularly like that it is a parent cooperative which allows me to participate in my child's first school experience.

Re: “ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain

We love it! Its a great place to wander through on a chilly winter afternoon, and a great destination for a summer bike ride as its right off the bike path. We get the pass every year so we can pop in whenever we'd like. We have also used the pass to get into other museum's around New England as members.
