The Winooski Valley Park District (WVPD) is a cooperative partnership of seven member communities who share a common interest in protecting natural resources in the Winooski River Valley. The WVPD manages 1,750+ acres of conservation land in 18 parks and natural areas for public use and enjoyment. WVPD parks are open year-round, free of charge and offer hiking, walking, running, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, kayak & canoe access, fishing, swimming, picnic areas and wildlife viewing opportunities.
