I could have written every word. Our experience was exactly the same. Our eldest even said the same words as Levi about not liking his brother. And the acknowledgement and validation of those feelings was enough to begin to bring the calm back. When our eldest struggled with starting kindy we went to Playcentre as a family for a year instead. It was exhausting and brought its own grief, but it laid a solid foundation for the new normal. We were always together. When he was ready he spread his wings and went to kindy. The two children are so close now, 2 years later, but the grief is still healing for me as a mother. Perinatal depression didn't help
